³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿ has again been recognised as a Gold Employer at the Pride in Diversity , maintaining this status since 2022 for its efforts to ensure a respectful and inclusive culture.
The University was a finalist in the Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusion Award which recognises preferred employers for trans and gender diverse people.
The Gold Employer ranking recognises the impact of ³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿'s efforts towards LGBTQIA+ inclusion against the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), a national benchmark to assess organisational culture and performance.
The University supports a range of initiatives and collaborations to provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment for students and staff in line with its Strategic Plan, including an active ³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿ Ally Network, training programs and resources for staff, and inclusive HR and leave policies.
